Kastnes Museum

This open-air museum is situated in an idyllic cultural landscape in Dyrøy municipality. It is dedicated to the way of life of the farmers and fishermen who traditionally lived in the area. Along with the farmhouses, the building collection boasts a hunting cabin used by a renowned local hunter.  The area is also rich in older heritage, including graves from til Viking age. Taking a stroll along the culture trail is a nice experience all year round. Kastnes museum is open on special occasions during Summer.
