This is an open-air museum dedicated to the farming history of Målselv. Some of the buildings belonged to the Fossmo farm, cleared by settlers from Southern Norway in the 1820s. Fossmo eventually became one of the larger farms in the area, with extensive rights to the rich salmon fishery in the river. Other buildings have been moved to the site after the old farm became a community garden in 1963. Fossmotunet is located a short drive from the E6 past Bardufoss airport.
