Balsfjord Fjord Museum/ Wetland Centre

This museum is dedicated to the natural history of the unique Balsfjord area and its wetlands. The museum also holds permanent exhibitions on the cultural history of Balsfjord, where fishing, trapping and sealing – both at home and in the High Arctic – have been very important to the population.

There are great spots for birdwatching in the museum’s immediate vicinity.
